So we tried Europcar - he wanted 4500 Dirhams for 4 days, I told hime he must be joking, but he said best price, then tried me at 3700 instead, we walked out and found a local company who were much cheaper. Be aware that they leave you a teaspoon of petrol! We just made it to the nearest petrol pumps. The motorway south was lovely, 3 speed traps, but saw them up ahead so were inside the speed limit. On the way back north we came up the old road, and saw one or two fixed cameras, but if you stay inside the speed limit (only the grand taxis and buses seem to break them with impugnity) It seems to be fine.
