Can anyone help me id this please? Caught in actinic trap in North Brittany on 15th June.
Slightly feathered antennae.

Dear Nerine
Long time since we spoke!
This moth is interesting to me. It's not unlike several species:
Mottled Grey (Colostygia multistrigaria), even, at a push, some
of those species similar to Seraphim (Lobophora halterata).
However, when I first looked at it I thought it might be one of
the larger Pyralids with its wings in an unusual position....
Udea prunealis, for example.....
The answer is I don't know....but I just wanted to say 'hello' to you,
because it was your picture of a Pyrausta that got me onto the Birdforum
moth section all those years ago!!
Glad you're still at it!! My activities have stopped here in Budapest since we moved, however, I go to Cambridge for 2 x 2-week spells each summer, and always do some mothing there...and that's next week, so I'm gearing up by looking at people's pictures on Birdforum again!!
Best wishes
David
