Message: <blockquote data-quote="edenwatcher" data-source="post: 1634170" data-attributes="member: 8070">An update for 24th October.2 cassowaries showed absurdly well when we visited.  Our group was too large to stay at Cassowary House, we just visited for the day.  We arrived at 6:50 and both birds were present.  After a while the male wandered off into the forest, but the female was still present when we left to bird the surrounding area at 9ish.  In the surrounding area there was a grey goshawk nest over the road, we had nice views of lovely fairy-wren and fairy gerygone at Mackenzie's Pocket and some obliging fig parrots.Back at Cassowary House for lunch, one cassowary was again present, as were 2 Victoria's riflebirds.Rob</blockquote>
