Caterpillar Normandy (and 2 moth confirmations) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I found this caterpillar on the side wall of my cottage in Normandy (North France) on 20th April, at about 11pm. I thought it looked like a peacock butterfly larvae but am having doubts as I can't see white spots.

Also would appreciate confirmations for these moths, seen that same weekend.

Thanks very much,

Paul

I believe that I overlook Lunar Thorn generally. A bit difficult to see the hindwing shape on your photo but I would certainly go Lunar Thorn and Brimstone on your two adult moths.

I lack the knowledge on caterpillars to help on that though.

All the best
