No idea if he really died 1898 and where (but why not) and when and where he was born. Probably according here François André Saint Félix COLARDEAU. Some more here p. 10 of 24. May he is born 15/07/1829 Pointe à Pitre? Here p.38 and 39 (last entry).
It is with pleasure I confer upon this species the name of my friend, Dr. St. Felix Colardeau, who has shown much intelligent interest in procuring the birds of Gaudeloupe.

Dr Saint-Félix Colardeau (fl. 1890) French coffee-planation owner on Guadeloupe, US vice-consul, naturalist, collector (syn. Chaetura martinica).

« St. Felix Colardeau received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Yale in 1858. His Bachelor of Arts degree was awarded from the University of France in 1848.
