Yesterday - 2 Great White Egrets, 5+ Little Egrets, 6 Whooper Swans and 3 White-fronted Geese at Frodsham; 2 Great White Egrets at Burton/Parkgate; Mediterranean Gull, 6 whooper Swans and Hobby at Burton Mere Wetlands; 7 Little Egrets, 847 Great Crested Grebes, 750 Common Scoters, 25 Red-throated Divers, 2 Merlins, 389 Chaffinches and 4 Bramblings at Red Rocks; 9 Short-eared Owls and Black Swan at Burton;

Update for today - Great White Egret at Frodsham; Red-crested Pochard at Trentbank Resr; Hobby, Spotted Redshank and 8 Whooper Swans at Burton Mere Wetlands; Wheatear at Leasowe;

an interesting female ring tail Harrier reported at Burton Point, on the Wirral yesterday, only showing 4 visible primary fingers in a photo, ( so Montys or Pallid) but difficult to note much else. Worth a look if folks are out and about tomorrow

Today - Marsh Harrier and 4 Whooper Swans at Burton Mere Wetalnds; 4 Swallows and 805 Pink-footed Geese over Woolston Eyes;

Yesterday - Purple Sandpiper and 5 Little Egrets at Hilbre;

Fem/imm black redstart on the roofs at Spring farm business park this morning (a rather happy find whilst surveying pylons!) - grid ref SJ692591. Don't know about access - I was there on business...

I took a record shot - will upload when I get it off the camera

Adult w/pl Temminck's Stint on Burton Marsh this afternoon, on grass edge by flood.
Pair of Redstarts at Red Rocks, male was well seen but they disappeared into undergrowth before they could be photographed. These are quite late but latest for Cheshire is end of November!

Yesterday - 2 Caspian Gulls and 5 Yellow-legged Gulls at Richmond Bank; 2 Great White Egret at Parkgate; Black Redstart at Red Rocks; 2 Ruddy Shelducks at Burton; 2 Scaup at Sandbach Flashes; 11 Whooper Swans, Spotted Redshank and Swallow at Burton Mere Wetlands; 4 Swallows at Risley Moss;
