Chris Packham resigns from Hawk trust. (1 Viewer)

Could someone please fill us in on the issue(s) involved?
Is this bad news now for sure or is there still a fight to be settled?

It's good to see someone with principles and integrity doing the right thing, my respect for Mr Packham was already high after his Malta trip but it's that little bit greater now.

James.

As far as I can see the Owl and Hawk Trust have not mentioned anything about Chris Packham resigning on any of there websites. They seem to be keeping very quiet about this. But good on Chris Packham keeping to his principals.
Ian.

I'll definitely second that, met Chris twice, once at Salthome and was very chuffed when he recognised me at the birdfair and was more them impressed when I told him I was now a nest recorder, which I believe he is also president of the BTO

Hawk and Owl trust still keeping quiet - a flyer came in with April's BB and it still mentioned Chris Packham as being president!

I noticed that too and wondered if it was covered by the regulations regarding false advertising! I wonder too what the Charities Commission would say about it.
