Message: <blockquote data-quote="Colin" data-source="post: 1699931" data-attributes="member: 97"><p>Here in west Gloucestershire there has been snow cover for 10 days and overnight to this morning (13th) there has been another 3 1/2 inches of fine snow.  Over the past few days there have been plenty of thrush species (inc Blackbirds) foraging very intently but today after this fresh snowfall, the birds seem distinctly lethargic.  They are probably struggling now after all this time.  Many of my neighbours feed the birds, including on the ground feeding so there is some food for them.  Hope the thaw sets in soon.</p></blockquote><p></p>
