Hi Tayler,

How are you? Great to see you around here again.

And with a few tips above me, I'll try Common Murre as my first guess.

Cheers

Oops

Try again here.

How about a Razorbill or a Guillemot

Oh, wait a minute. I think I have misunderstood you. Here in the States, a Guillemot is either the Pigeon or Black Guillemot, genus Cepphus. But I forgot that the Common Murre, genus Uria is the Common Guillemot in Europe. So if that's what you meant, you are correct. Sorry about that... the bird is a Common Murre/Guillemot.

Well anyway, lets move on! (Didn't mean to lead you on like that Sue:-C)

Yes, you are both correct! (hello Joao! Nice to see you again. I'm doing just fine, it's the same for you I hope.) Earlier in the thread, Peewit said Guillemot which I had forgotten was the equivalent to the Common Murre here in North America. My mistake, sorry! :-C Okay, now focus your attention on our next mystery bird!

Tayler, can you post the un-cropped photo of the Common Murre? I think I see a little orange where one would normally find a bird's beak/bill. I would like to see where that is coming from on a photo of the entire bird.
