Common buzzard or Northern Goshawk (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I saw this impressive bird of prey during my hike this morning. Is it "just" a common buzzard or something else? I am a bit irritated since I thouht buzzards are more brownish, while this fellow was more greyish and bright.
I am located in the western part of Germany.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Looks like a buzzard to me. They can be quite variable in colour with light / pale "morphs" like your pictured one.

Thank you both very much for the welcome and the quick answers.
Hmm... too bad... but I was "afraid" of that. So no new bird for my list ;-)
Have a nice Sunday!
