Solved my problem. A local put a Swarovski 65mm ATM HD body on the local craigslist for $800. Luckily I didn't try and low ball him like the other callers and he even drove it to my work. I also figured out how to get the Swarovski 25-50x eyepiece to work on 1.25" mount scopes. It turns out the bayonet base is held in place with three torx screws. I picked up a $23 1.25 barrel to 2" eyepiece adapter which was almost a perfect replacement. I turned to down the adapter on a lathe. I was able to buy a screw in UV filter that fit the adapter base to keep the eyepiece interior clean. I may even redo it with an argon fill. My Pentax spotting scopes now work with the Swarovski 25-50x zoom and focus well past infinity. I am keeping the original bayonet mount which I can screw back on if I ever need to send it back to Swarovski. Now to do an optical comparison of the Pentax and Swarovski to see which I prefer for the dreaded chromatic aberrations.
