3 Little Egrets over Coney Meadow yesterday evening - one heading up the valley and 2 headed down.
Hobby over at dusk
Tawny Owl hooting continuously
2 Sand Martin's among the ~50 roosting Swallows

Little Egret over the Salwarpe near the village this morning. 3 Grey Heron flying over Coney in formation heading west. No sign of the red kite : (

Common Whitethroats and Blackcaps

Vismig consisted of Meadow Pipits overhead (c20), 17 Siskins and a few Swallows and House Martins trickling through.

More Siskins moving through this morning - including a flock of ~20 over Coney.

Skylark overhead - a scarce bird lately
Several Meadow Pipits and hirundines on the move.

Cetti's Warbler along the canal between Salwarpe and Ladywood (subsinging male) - showed well
Reed Warbler in hedge near Ladywood
9 Siskins near Mill Cottage, Salwarpe
2 Skylarks near Ladywood
Red Kite soaring with Buzzards just west of Ladywood
Little Egret over Ladywood
Small flocks of Meadow Pipits over in various places
Very few hirundines noted today.
