Female Stonechat Coney Meadow - perched on the viewing screen at one point.
2 Cetti's Warblers present - one at each end - singing Male and probable female

Excellent, relatively close and prolonged views of the Goshawk obtained (for about 5 minutes). The sheer size and power of the bird was immediately obvious. It even upset the local Ravens - it was their calls that drew my initial attention - before it flew directly overhead then circled high and headed off to the north-east. A year-tick for me.

Another Cetti's Warbler sang and showed well along the canal towards Ladywood.
3 Lesser Redpolls landed in scrubby hedge in Coney
Several small flocks of Siskin

21 Golden Plovers in field just north of A4133 near Ombersley. Not technically on my patch but I can see them from the fields near Gardener's Grove woodland (near Knights Grove).

1 Peregrine over.
Cetti's earlier along the canal near Ladywood (4 different birds recorded on the patch during my walk on Friday)
1 female Blackcap.

A small flock (6+) of Lesser Redpolls feeding in Alders near Ladywood gave very good, close views. It was interesting to see the variation in under-tail coverts - most being strongly streaked but one individual had virtually unmarked UTC's.

A few Siskins over plus the usual winter Thrushes and Meadow Pipits. 2 Skylarks.

4 Yellowhammers near Mayhouse Farm on Monday and one near Salwarpe on Tuesday.

A Peregrine over Droitwich Community Woods this morning
Female Blackcap
2 Snipe flew from Coney reedbed this evening
Water Rails and Cetti's Warbler calling
