2 Whinchats again on the fence line between Salwarpe and Ladywood this morning

A Little Egret flew up the valley over New Mill.
1 Whinchat still present perched on Dock plants on my return walk.
Good flock of mixed hirundines including a few Sand Martins

Dozens of swallows & martins skimming the big field between Ladywood & Salwarpe this morning. Quite a few swifts about and a handful of linnets flew over calling

2 Whinchats still present this morning, though can be elusive at times.

Great views of a cracking male Redstart in bushes between Ladywood and New Mill.
Probably the same bird in hedge 100yds away about 15 minutes later, although couldn't rule out there being 2 present.

Later walk then usual highlights 40+ swallows over coney, 18 swifts back towards Droitwich, but star of the evening Tawny Owl flew out just in front of me nice surprise 🙂

12 Glow worms seen this evening - 2 Gorsey Bank, 3 Hopyard Wood, 4 around the allotments, 2 on the verge of the Roman Way and 1 along the railway track.
