Trying to get a confirmation if this is a Wood Thrush or some other type ??? ...
short video of him singing here:
Southern NJ, USA, this morning.
Shot 15 minutes or so of the singing :)

It's definitely a Wood Thrush. I can hear it singing over the Kraftwerk that's coming from the radio.

The sound of these birds really stand out. Everyday serenade now, since it's pretty much summer here. 🌞

Wood Thrush for me ;)

Thanks, Now I can post the long clip on Youtube, with the serenade, for anyone who likes it. 👍
here's the link...enjoy :

since the post/video of this Thrush singing was so well received and there doesn't seem to be too many shots out there of these birds in action, I put together some action shots today of the pair foraging...video can be found here for anyone interested...enjoy 😁

One thing you may not realize is that in the gallery here in birdforum, you can embed a video you have already uploaded to youtube such that people searching within birdforum also will find it. Those looking in the gallery and those looking in the id section are often two different crowds.

Thank you I just tried it, and it seems to work much better 👍

I'll be doing it that way from now on 😁

The video I just linked directly there, is an updated version with much better footage anyway LOL...

(BTW: new link is here
