Given our results we recommend gathering more data before concluded whether these taxa should be treated as two species or subspecies.
[Calonectris (diomedea) borealis is recognised as a distinct species by H&M4, IOC, BOURC and CSNA/DBA; but not by BirdLife, eBird/Clements, AERC TAC or AOU NACC/SACC.]

Too bad they didn't include edwarsii.
