Did you get anywhere near the hummingbird gallery at Monteverde or see any Quetzels from the Hanging Bridges?  Was there ever any option for this? I suppose I should remember that this isn’t a dedicated birding holiday!!! When you went on the birding trips with Carlos Himenez in the second week were there other birders in your group?
