Merry Christmas!
In Costa Rica looking for birds, my third day and already 40 ++ lifers.
I ran in to trouble this afternoon with 3 birds.
Picture 1)
I ID this birds as Rufous-collared Sparrow. Instantly, I thought the bird looked strange. There are a lot of Rufous-collared Sparrows in the area but these were looking strange. And back in my room watching the pictures, they are red in the front. I have looked at OPUS and internet, nowhere is RED mentioned in the description
Picture 2)
I have no clue what bird this is? Maybe a sick bird, or an albino. There are a lot of Flame-coloured Tanagers in the area.
Picture 3)
Tennessee Warbler, juvenile, but there is no streak over the eye and no browse, so I am unsure about this ID
Any one having any ideas about my birds?
Kind Regards and Happy Birding
