CRYPTIC plumage 2 (1 Viewer)

Deb Burhinus

Used to be well known! 😎
Europe
Hopefully this is in the ‘correct’ forum now and people won’t complain about this one either - it’s not a picture quiz so hopefully won’t cause upset here too! (apologies to those commenting on the original thread - feel free to repost any clues not solved to here).

A reminder!

1. Select any bird species around the world, name the region using the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palearctic_realm#/media/File:Wallace03.jpg
and create an anagram or cryptic clue or both for the same answer.

Eg.

Region = WP1
a) An eating implement receives a charge for a meal (cryptic)
b) lipsonobl (anagram)
= Spoonbill

If the species has the Continent as part of its full name do not include this in the clue but write it in front of the anagram in brackets as eg E (or in full Eurasian/European), AF (African), AM (American), AS, ( Asian) or AU (Australia)
