D200 Firmware update (1 Viewer)

The low battery indicator problem associated with the D200 (and also the D80) has been addressed at last. I found it to be quite annoying at times especially with a recently fully charged battery in the camera. I installed the firmware update yesterday, seems to be working fine.

Check this link to install the D200 update; http://nikoneurope-en.custhelp.com/...nMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li=&p_topview=1

If you are not competent with installing or are worried then do not do it yourself, your camera could be messed up.

Thanks for the tip about the firmware update. I updated my D200 the other night. Went smoothly.

I'm contemplating buying a D700 but am enjoying the almost weekly price drops. It has gone from £1999 down to £1515. Like the share prices it has not hit the bottom yet!

Good to hear it went well. Strange that it took Nikon such a long time to fix the problem.

As for the D700, do I need one, not really. I am still trying to master the art of lighting macros with the Nikon CLS. I will be saving my money thuogh for some lenses and a backpack to carry all the kit I have been accumulating.
