Da Nang Vietnam Kingfisher ID and Woodpecker (1 Viewer)

Greetings,

I was at Dam Cau Hai, just north of Da Nang on our way to Bach Ma mountain. I saw this kingfisher on a rock at the edge of the lagoon and I cant decide between common kingfisher or blue eared kingfisher. Photos #1 and #2 are attached.

We continued on the Bach Ma and either the weather was poor for birding or the drive took too long and the birding window had passed. However I got this very poor shot of a fast moving bird that was on the main trunk of a tree. I finally managed to get a picture as it was in the crook of the tree. The Merlin App identified it as a Laced Woodpecker and I can see that but am not 100%. Maybe someone else could chime in? Picture #3

Lastly a group of very small birds flew out f the fog and bounced nearly non-stop between a few trees. I was able to get two pictures, neither all that good, but maybe someone would recognize it off the bat.

Thanks

Fritz Leip

The kingfisher has orange behind the eye so is a Common Kingfisher.

Not even sure the woodpecker is a woodpecker.

The small birds look good for White-headed Munia.
