Dabbling Duck ID, Guangxi , China (1 Viewer)

This morning I was birding on a small reservoir in Baise, Guangxi. I've never seen a duck here before in numerous trips and was surprised to find a lone duck today. The photos are poor, but would appreciate any ideas or suggestions. I'm somewhat unfamiliar with ducks on this side of the world.

In flight the duck showed a blueish speculum bordered by white.

Most likely with a bluish speculum and strong supercilium is Garganey

For the same reasons given by Mike and given the choices, I would have to go for a likely Garganey also.
