Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me id this Damselfly please taken today at Lakenheath RSPB (Suffolk).

I think it’s a Common Blue?

Thanks very much!

Regards,

Robert

Azure Damselfly Coenagrion puella I think. It seems to have a u-shaped mark rather than a mushroom shaped one on the second segment of the abdomen.

I don't think it's a Common Blue, it has the Coenagrion spur which marks it as one of those species, my guess is Coenagrion puella - Azure Damselfly.

I could well be wrong; often am. |:$|
