I am having hard time to differentiate this between Dark-sided or Grey-streaked Flycatcher. It is unfortunate no side and back view shots available. If possible to ID, could you kindly point out to me which part indicated it so. Thank you for any help.

Don't take my word for it, but I would think Dark-sided. As the streaking is vaguely edged, supercilium and malar stripes seem not well defined. Undertail is not clean white but a bit greyish. Bill is not long, lacking an orange base.

I hope my suggestion is confirmed by those more knowledgeable.

cheers,

Those are great explaination and features pointed. Thank you very much.

Glad to hear that. What group was it confirmed in Andy?

cheers,

In reference to the Gray-streaked photo (Gray-streaked Flycatcher Macaulay Library ML21717231) shared by Dave, and features pointed in comparison, "the tiny bill, very subtle dark marks on the vent, and the steaks are too diffuse for Grey-streaked", also with points posted by you earlier above. I am convinced it is Dark-sided.
