It sounds pretty cold in your neck of the woods, Paul!|^|

Damp, dull and 8.6c here. The forecast is for it to turn colder this afternoon with snow possible!:eek!: Well it is December I suppose and seasonal.o:D

A Sparrowhawk whizzed through my garden this morning, no wonder the garden is quiet of birdies!

Does seem very cold at the moment - forecast is that we might get up to 2 degrees today and overnight could go down to -3. The water I put out after clearing out the ice on the ground dish had a skin of ice within an hour so pretty frosty. Clear skies probably have exacerbated the cold here.

Not sure if we'll get any where I am but there's definitely some snow on the way for England.

Cold and getting colder by the hour! Fog/mist dropping down now to add to the chill in the air! Roll on summer!

A Wren in the garden this afternoon! I put out some crumbled cheese for her/him and a Blackbird ate it all!

Sunny for a couple of hours this morning and then grey and dreary. Some snow flakes (wet variety) around lunchtime and then rain this afternoon. Thoroughly miserable.

It has been been raining all day albeit a brief, very brief few minutes of sunshine and clear sky this afternoon!

Not many birdies in the garden.

Had little flurries of snow on and off today but now it's really falling and is settling very well. There's a weather warning for it in this area so not surprising that it's coming quite heavy. Some big clumps falling and the wind is blowing it all over. Some of the houses here have snow smeared over the walls and chimneys. Not sure how deep it'll be come morning, I hear forecasts of 5-10cm with maybe up to 20cm in some places.

We had the obligatory 'snow warnings' today, but, as per usual, we saw only 2 minutes worth of snow. Cold, wet and windy most of the day.

Yeah, that's the normal, isn't it! :-O

We had the occasional snow flurry in Newcastle yesterday and this morning I woke up to a light covering :t: If previous years are anything to go by it'll all be melted by lunchtime! :-O

Just be careful on those roads folks :eek!:

No more snow showers this morning but the light covering is still with us :t:

I'll pop out in a mo to get a pic from across the Pastures and see if it's still snowy there....much more scenic than the view out my back window :-O
