Deep mid-Winter in St Petersburg (1 Viewer)

Many posts on this part of the board seem to have no luck whatsoever, but worth a try.

I've done a bit of my own research also, so I can at least half contribute (but not fully!) - there really doesn't even seem to be much information about deep mid-Winter in either in NW Russia or even in neighbouring Finland.

A few species that I would like to catch up with;
- Azure tit, Siberian and Crested tit
- Hawfinches (seem to be reasonably common)
- White tailed eagle
- woodpeckers
- owls

A few things I have found!

Gatchina Palace - has a few observations of Crested tit in mid-Winter

Lotoshino fish farm was recommended for Azure Tits but it may be a little too far from St Petersburg for me!

I do also speak quite a bit of Russian but most of the observations in this thread seem to be from garden feeders - but a nice assortment of woodland birds!

At least if this gets no replies it may serve to help in future, I will also update as I go along!
