Mark.

I've been there several times with no success in finding the Shrike.

I recognise that tree stump! On my last visit I was leaving and saw a couple in the car park who had seen it on that very place 10 minutes earlier. However despite going back to search for it I couldn't relocate it.

Never had any luck finding one here or at Arne (Dorset) despite several visits to each place. |[email protected]|

Very nice indeed metal.birder - thanks.

Today a walk from Westward Ho! along the beach and round the estuary as far as Greysands at Skern during low tide. Going into the Burrows near Skern revealed 40 Wigeon in a pond which has recently got a lot bigger because of the higher tides.

Several Shelduck, Curlew, Magpies, Skylark, along with the normal corvids and seabirds were enjoyed along the way.

Hiya!
Thanks Sherlock!
Yeah Cornish get yourself down there, it always comes back to that spikey stump , I saw it perched on there after crossing the road, couldnt quite believe it! You can hide in the bushes and wait for it to get some cracking views!

All the best!
