2 Little Gulls today at Southcott Valley around Midday. A trip down to the Skern for high tide this evening paid off with a flock of around 50 Sanderling present along with about 100 Brent Geese.

No sign of the four Garganey or any Little Stints at BGM this morning but watched a Crow drag frogs out the water and devour the juiciest flesh from them.

Saw lots of goals at Old Trafford later in the day!

At least 6 Crossbill (5+ females) on Haldon at Mamhead around the car park for the Obelisk this afternoon. Could even hear the sound of the pine cones being snapped as they were feeding.

A walk this morning along Cornborough Cliffs proved worthwhile with 6 Dartford Warbler which is reassuring after the cold winter, the birds being very obliging and perching less than 10 feet away. Also a single Common Scoter out at sea. A fly over by a pair of Peregrines just added to a perfect morning.
This afternoon's visit to Bucks Mills proved less productive with nothing of note apart from the resident pair of Fulmar. Although being assured by the locals of Dippers in the Stream they failed to show.

do any of you guys look around plymouth?
I catch the odd message sometimes on RBA, but there never is really any reports from plymouth.
Tried to get the two black redstarts in central park the other day to no avail.

Saw the first Wheatear on the Southern slopes of Dartmoor today and the skylarks are really singing well, plenty about this week. It was a glorious day.

There was a male Wheatear on Langstone rock yesterday morning, probably the one seen later along the sea wall. Seven Sand Martins at Wrafton Pond this evening.

Two Grey Partridge were seen from the canal just south west of Halberton for long periods twice today. A nice canal year tick.

Malcolm the Mandarin has relocated nearer to Tiverton at Tidcombe. A pair of teal were on a small flood between Tiverton and Halberton at Manley.

Long-tailed Tits building nests in a few spots along the canal.

The first Wheatears of the year for me on the Skern tonight along with a very lonley Brent Goose, a definate sign of the changing season.

No sign of the Grey Partridges today sadly.

A walk from Tivvy to Westleigh on the canal produced Malcolm, a female Brambling (good canal year tick), 21 Redwings, a male Kingfisher and a few Small Tortoiseshells.

Still getting pleasurably warm in the afternoons.

I've heard he is regualary seen there, but havent any good information on where it could be found.
If not, does anyone else know where i could possibly see one?
It will be a lifer tick for me if i can see it. Its been avoiding me for 10 years, i think its time i caught up with it.

Greysands Boy and myself have been for a walk this afternoon along Cornborough Cliffs. Plenty of Stonechat but the Dartford Warblers being fairly shy with only 1 putting in an appearance, but the added bonus of an Great Northern Diver made it worthwhile. The lone Common Scoter is still present.
Popped onto the Skern on the way home and managed to find 2 Wheatear.

I spent an hour or so looking for Dartford's at Cornborough Cliffs today but with no luck. Did manage a few snaps of a Wheatear at Skern though.

Nice image, but have you done something to it in photoshop as it looks a bit too "sharpened"?

Thanks for the comment, I always shoot in RAW so some sharpening is essential (unlike jpeg where the camera does the sharpening for you). There is very little sharpening in this one but it is a medium crop (over sharpening usually shows a white halo around the bird).
