Diopter settings (1 Viewer)

Question for you binocular experts. I have 2 units of the same binocular (one in car and one at my partners house) but the ideal diopter setting for me is different on each unit. Is this normal or is there potentially something adrift with one of them? For comparison the diopter setting on one of them is pretty much where it is for my main binoculars of a different make (not far off the middle). Thanks

It is just that the dioptre setting has not been zeroed accurately.

So long as you get a good view with either eye and both eyes, nothing is amiss.

Regards,
B

Thanks Binastro. I did wonder why especially as I can pretty much predict where a diopter on any binocular will be set best for me.
Just out of interest, although its obviously not an issue is the zeroing something that can be fixed?
