For me, it adds greatly to the ease of viewing and appreciation of the bird. I really hope that scopes also get stabilized, but accept that it is much harder to do. Maybe using just a monopod along with stabilization will prove to be a useful compromise.We agree that the DEV-50 still falls short, but imho it shows huge potential. It is already much improved from the predecessor DEV-5. A few more iterations and I think these will give the all optical designs a run for their money.
