As I rotated the focus wheel it had tight spots, it is currently being fixed at Swarovski I hope to have it back shortly

GEAR GRIPZ self adeshive tape is easy to cut out to fit, and I have it since earlier.

This stuff is truly amazing, easy to work with and does not leave a residue if removed. My only tip is to preheat it and the area you want to apply it too with a low setting on a heat gun or hair dryer. I have it strategically placed on all my cameras and lenses and it makes a remarkable difference in ergonomics, especially in hot or cold weather when hands can get either sweat laden or too cold to always accurately grab hold of something.

I truly believe that sticking adhesive tape on lenses makes a remarkable difference... except probably at night

Do you really need lens covers on pocket binoculairs? There must be a reason Swarovski and Zeiss doesn't deliver one?

I dont use them om my VP 8x25.

I put them on because that’s where they live my pocket, and I would be quite upset if I scratched a lens by accident. For the sake of spending a few pounds to protect the over £600 bins for me it’s worth it. I was just helping other people out should they wish to do the same.

I understand why you help people. Many people want lens covers. Yes its true, its good to protect them. Some use a socket or sunglasses bag where they keep the Curio in.
And keep your pockets clean.

Same here: they are in my pocket or somewhere in a bag with metal lenses, etc. It would be so easy to scratch them.

My pockets are padded and soft. So no extra covers needed.
I only use ocular covers to protect my binoculars for rain, food crumbs, etc. But for that reason, I do not like the original Curio rainguard. The binoculars have to be folded to put the rainguard on it.
