Dome on bird feeding station (1 Viewer)

Can a wide dome hanging on a bird feeding dtation cause the pole to move more than it should especially when it's windy?

Logically I'd say yes; more surface area for the wind to catch! To be fair we haven't had many of our customers saying it causes problems so unless you're in a very windy spot it should be fine.

Hi MobiusX. I have these domes fitted to various feeders - on individual poles with feeders atop, to prevent access for squirrels from below, and for free-hanging feeders suspended from branches. Never had any problem from wind, and we do get our share of strong winds here on North East coast of England (Lincolnshire). Plus, they are very effective. Well worth the dosh! Can highly recommend them. And they last - never had to replace one yet. Regards, Neil.
