I guess it's a 1 cy Mallard ? but hoping for Gadwall ?

Hello,

although difficult to judge with confidence, the pattern on the bill with an orange tip, narrowing to orange cutting edge and a black "saddle" is good for a Mallard and wrong for Gadwall.
Also, rusty breast is much better for a Mallard (but really out of variation for Gadwall? Yes, at least nearly)
