Ducks in King County, WA (1 Viewer)

I have been seeing some flocks of ducks in different duck ponds near parks and at the beaches on Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington. The birds seem to resemble American Black Ducks but ebird seems to suggest they are rare for the area. Are these really American black ducks or some other species?Duck.jpeg

They look like mallards to me. Suggest not dark enough for black duck. Left bird has white in the wing which is wrong for black duck (but the 2 species hybridise extensively)
