I spotted ducks today, Blue-winged Teals and Lesser Scaups. I take a picture of the birds on the other side of the lake to see if there is something exciting.

I see one bird, left hand side, and it looks like it have a green spot on the wing, and it looks to be a big duck.

Is it possible to ID this bird from this poor, at least to say, picture?

Or it could be a Northern Shoveler

Thank you DHayden, highly appreciated

I have searched and female shoveler is the only one I can see with this green spot. Looks a little too big to be a mallard, looks very heavy on the legs Mallards, at least I imagine this, looks a little bit more streamlined. But it is a very poor picture with the birds very far away.

I will not add any birds to my report to eBird, I will just keep the Blue-winged Teal

I wish you a good bird watching year 2025

The color this bird shows appears to be more reminiscent of the bird on the extreme right, a Blue Wing Teal.
The color patch does seem to be from the front of the wing, it is not part of the speculum to my eyes, which is where the green of Shovelers and Green Wing Teals would be found.
Imho your bird is a Blue Wing Teal, despite the apparent size discrepancy.
