Would've went for...

1 turnstone
2 juv ?chat
3 ?
4 lesser whitethroat

Bear in mind I've never heard of most of the species you lot are always mentioning! (we don't get lesser whitethroats either but it looks whitethroaty and I don't think it's a common.)

C'est pas ma faute, je suis anglais.
Surely No.4's a Speccy..?? That would've been my guess for No.3 as well.

Actually number 4 is a speccy, taken in lanzarote - after having identified it by the tertial pattern and then being told it wasn't a speccy I had a look on Juan Sagardia's excellent website, and here is the next bird in the sequence - can't find the photo from here though, so maybe it's been miscaptioned on another site.

I agree with S James, including the ? for the last one, I could see it as a locustella, so I'll go for gropper to start with .

Agree with first three.

Locustella is my feeling too. Since it also looks like a little like a Sedge (and to be different) I'll say Pallas's rather

by not a wheatear, do you mean it's not a Northern Wheatear or not one of the wheatears?

I think I understand what I've written!
