Egret?? (1 Viewer)

I captured this egret one month ago, south of Iran in Tiab Creek.
I’m not sure but maybe it’s an Intermediate Egret!

Gape line extending behind the eye, seemingly long legs, length of bill etc suggest Great White Egret to me rather than Intermediate.

Personally I am thinking of a Intermediate.
The gape line is in his favor.
The species has already been observed in Iran.

Seems like only one of the c3 photos which show the gape suggests it ends before the eye, and I think that's down to angle. Perhaps you hooked on to that one? ...Shows how difficult it can be to judge, though...
