Adolph Paluka

I believe that family are of Slavic origins hence the name should be Palŭka

Here we find he was born on 5 Sept 1864 in Konstantinopel Türkei.

Did his schooling in Nürnberg.

Returned to Konstantinopel with a wife Marie Schimeck.

This is a son I believe

Adolph Paluka
Birth
8. Dez 1897 (8 Dec 1897)
Konstantinopel Türkei

The son fought in WW1 and Adolf Snr was living in Munich in 1915.

This book has a detailed account of the family but I can only get snippets

"Der Zweitgeborene Adolf erbte das Unternehmen , führte es erfolgreich bis 1918 weiter , firmierte sogar unter » Bazar Allemand - Konstantinopel , New York « . Auch zum Hof des Sultans hatte Adolf Paluka engen Kontakt."

Adolfs niece was Gret Palucca, born Margarethe Paluka (8 January 1902 – 22 March 1993), was a German dancer and dance teacher, notable for her dance school, the Palucca School of Dance, founded in Dresden in 1925.
