I checked on a bird box, because the Great tit's nestlings had stopped chirping.
Seems they fleged, there were no eggs in the box??

The nestbox has a nest made from moss, etc. Should we empty and disinfect the birdbox??

Thanks
Clive

Hi there Clive and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

I would leave the nest box alone for a bit and definitely do not use any disinfects in the box.
