English name change - recommendation (1 Viewer)

Black Wheatear

Bowed but not broken, yet!
Okay guys, on a lighter note (and just for a change) regarding English names of species, I would like to recommend a change/modification.

Given that young Hoopoes over 6 days old are able to largely prevent unwanted attentions from predators and of course yours truly by exuding an evil and intolerable smelling fluid from enlarged and modified oil glands and also acquire the dubious ability to forcibly squirt a hatful of liquid faeces and gut contents accurately over a distance of 25 to 30cm. I believe it is a good reason to, or worth considering, changing the name from Hoopoe to ‘Hoopoo’!!

Makes sense to me.:-O
