Eurasian Linnet? (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
Hello! I've spent a total of 10 days in England, in summer 2016, so I have almost no experience with British birds. I saw this guy (see photo) near Bempton Cliffs and thought it was a Dartford Warbler; I'm only now discovering that I was well north of its range! I'm assuming this isn't a Dartford, but I can't figure out what it is. Let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Awesome, thanks! Glad to have this one figured out!
Do you think something might be wrong with its eye? That was part of what threw me!
