EWE Binoculars? (1 Viewer)

Anyone out there know anything about the German-made EWE binoculars? Is it E.W.E. or Ewe? I just purchased a pair of 8x30 Weitwinkel Ewe binoculars made in Germany and I was just curious to learn a little more about them. They look very much like the Zeiss and I am hoping they will arrive in good shape (I am so sick of SGW binoculars arriving riddled with mold and fungus :-(
