I wish you hadn´t told me that....;). Mind you, all the high-end new toys have had their launch-dates delayed...in any case, I think I´ll stick with the scope I have, I imagine the prices of the new ones will be astronomical! No, I´ve had glasses for over twenty years, but have only recently started using them birding. I found, doing home-made resolution tests (i.e. with a newspaper on a music-stand at the end of the garden!), that I could resolve far better with my specs on. So I figured, rather than spend lots of dosh on new HD kit, I should simply wear my glasses with what I have. I´ve got astigmatisms in both eyes, I think their deteriorating slightly. Thanks Mike, yes, I use little roundy glasses for birding, they sit far back into my eye-sockets, but maybe next time I get my eyes tested I´ll do as you suggest and try rimless ones. The upshot of all of this is that I ordered the DS eyepiece from Infocus today so I´ll post a DS v. MC er comparison when they arrive!:t:
