I'm just back from a trip to Bhutan which is a new part of the world for me. Could someone with more experience of the area help with the attached photos.
In the field, I thought that the falcon was a Peregrine Falcon of the race perigrinator. Now that I am back with my books I feel it is more likely to be a Eurasian Hobby largely because of the heavy streaking on the underparts. Any comments?
Again, the Prinia I assumed was Hill Prinia in non-breeding plumage which I felt might be a bit strange in late March. Looking at the photo showing streaking on the upperparts I am now more inclined to say it is a Striated Prinia. Any comments would be most welcome.
