Fell End Nature Reserve eight years on (1 Viewer)

Fell End Nature Reserve.
Eight years ago the caravan site owners established a brand new nature reserve near Beetham, south Cumbria, not far from the Carnforth M6 junction.
It's fairly unusual in that it was developed and funded by a private individual, and is not part of any wildlife charity or organised nature organisation.
Visited today and as usual there was plenty to see including:
1 Tawny Owl near entrance to the wood
3 Marsh Tit on the feeders which are almost a dead-cert on any visit.
Also 20 Gadwall, 42 Teal, 5 Wigeon, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Tufted Duck, 5 Long -tailed Tit, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Reed Bunting
If you are in the area it's well worth a visit.
Below are some photos to give you an idea of what is there.
