[QUOTE="BrianInnes, post: 1218036, member: 46127"] Eventually got my A590IS today! I have got the baader microstage adaptor (the old style not the new clickstop) set up, got it hooked up to my Kowa TS 611 and quite a bit of vignetting on the scopes 20X eyepiece with the camera at wide angle. The vignetting seems to dissapear at ~2x zoom and above. At 7:30pm on a rather dull Scottish evening it's not the most ideal conditions for testing out the A590IS - however I do now think that it's my scope which is the weak part in the chain, quite visible CA on the test shots I've taken so far. Bearing in mind it's a plain glass scope I've got I did expect this. Quite noisy pictures from the A590, however I was running it at ISO 200 and I do have to bear in mind it's not a DSLR! I do agree with reviews that the LCD screen of the camera is a little soft, however when you hold the shutter half down you get a blown up portion of the screen so it's relatively easy to check focus. Still waiting on the new baader clickstop adaptor to arrive in the post. Certainly pleased with how compact the camera is, so it will be a nice lightweight alternative to my Pentax DSLR when I'm out hillwalking / cycling as well as being a digiscoping camera. The fact the camera runs on 2AA batteries means it's easy to take plenty spare for a long digiscoping session. Hopefully I'll get some free time during the day on my next day off so I can have a good try with the camera and scope - hopefully the baader clickstop adapter which I ordered last week will arrive before then!
