On my old A95 the screen is better than the 590 and later models. It is really annoying that Canon continue to follow this course of poor lcd's on the "A" series. It is not as though they do not have good screens, just take a look at the Ixus range and the quality of their lcd's. Because of the poor lcd's I would not encourage anyone to purchase the "A"'s and indeed would not buy one myself. Although their are many excellent features on these cameras I would still prefer something like the Nikon P5100 as you can see the quality of the photo you are about to make far easier.</p></blockquote><p></p>
