Message: <blockquote data-quote="Zackiedawg" data-source="post: 2007351" data-attributes="member: 88126">let me know if you can, by updating here, if your Green Cay /Wako days happen to fall on the weekend, as I'm often out there on the weekends and would be glad to meet or cross paths with you there.Recent sightings at Green Cay for me, the past week have been:  Sora, fairly reliable.  Painted bunting, fairly reliable.  Indigo bunting, a little harder to find.  American bittern, recent arrival, spotting random.  Kestrel, merlin, northern harrier, osprey - all regulars.  The usual full compliment of ducks, herons, egrets and other florida waders are all over the place.  Warblers in pretty good numbers, of many varieties.  Limpkins have been returning.  Roseate spoonbills have been spotted the past few weeks, randomly...they've been here all summer in larger numbers.  Monk parakeets, fairly reliable in the Wako area.  Purple gallinules - populous.  GBHs are nesting in larger numbers, mostly at Wako.  Black bellied whistling ducks at Wako.  I'll post if i can think of more...and I'll probably be there this weekend too.</blockquote>
