These two birds were seen three years ago in the North-western area of France, near Dunkirk and Calais. For the raptor it is probably a Common Buzzard but I would like to check, and the other bird I think could be a Gray Partridge but would like confirmation.

1. Honey buzzard - tail-pattern, wing-shape, small head.
2. I rather doubt that a partridge's wings bend that sharply in flight - but... 🤷🏻

The raptor is a Honey-buzzard, I am not sure about the second image

My first thought was Quail to be honest, but it's hard to find any photos to back that up, and real life views don't exactly often lend themselves to it
