Some more from yesterday
Excellent photographs, all of them. I thought in your last post that you'd seen WT6.6 and then realised it wasn't a decimal point, some of us are thick.

You obviously had a really good session. The light was good and the kites were very active. All saved to your folder.:t:
Hi June and all, I've just been browsing through some of the Red Kite photos in this thread,
some great stuff here and good to see the kites doing well in the North East.
Here are a few shots of soft southern Kites () taken in Watlington, Oxfordshire in July 2014
more shots from that wonderful day here http://www.birdforum.net/gallery/search.php?searchid=262590
Keep up the good work
regards

Thanks again Damian keep them coming :t:
No problems pal, any sightings in this area will be reported on here, also need to PM you about the location of a nest site, only found out last week, apparently been there for a least 2 years and you will be very surprised at location

Awful lighting conditions today meant the sky was completely washed out which has spoilt a couple of otherwise decent pictures
Soon be the breeding season June, think the birds are singing a lot earlier this year, already seen a Blackbird with a mouthful of worms but couldn't watch it back to its nest has I had my granddaughter with me and it was on a housing estate and the funniest thing about it was last year it was the same location I had seen proof of breeding and it was a Blackbird again, lol. Sorry went off subject there, just get very excited at the arrival of spring.
I'll soon be up there, a couple of friends and fellow BTO volunteers (NRS) ate coming along, so no.problem with transport.
Thanks
Damian
